About

My Story.
My Mission.

“Health, wellness, and longevity are my passions and the foundation I’ve built my own life and training philosophies on.”

I studied at the University of Texas El Paso, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Biology.  I am also a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-CEP).

While attending grad school, I landed my first job in Cardiac Rehabilitation in West Texas.  Twice a day, I would help my patients perform low level walking around the cardiac step-down unit, only a few days after open heart surgery. Once they were discharged from the hospital, we began a 12-week rehab program that taught them how to exercise safely, eat nutritious foods, and get to know what their bodies could handle following such a big surgery.

Throughout this process, I could see the joy they felt being able to walk 20 minutes on a treadmill, after only being able to walk 2 minutes on the first day. Or when they would proudly claim that the 10-lb dumbbells felt “light” when they could barely lift 3-lbs a few weeks ago.

After my experience working in Cardiac Rehab, I began to realize the impact of our everyday choices, and how our habits significantly affect the quality of our lives.
It was amazing to see their confidence and self-assurance grow!  I knew I had to help others find this feeling too.

Have confidence in knowing that I have done the research and the footwork for you already.  If I don’t know the solution to your problem or barrier, I won’t stop until I figure it out!

“We hold the key to change

the outcomes of our futures”

I believe in, and practice a holistic approach to health and wellness that focuses on life balance, natural movement, and providing our bodies with nutrient dense foods.

By making gradual changes, you can see big changes in your quality of life. It starts with the small habits you perform every day.

There are many reasons why hiring a personal trainer might be the best option for you. If you’ve never set foot in a gym, if you’re not sure what foods you should eat, or if you’re trying to regain strength after an injury, personal training can help you reach your goals so you can see, and feel the changes to grow in confidence!
